The Geneva Police Department would like to remind everyone that Geneva schools will be in session for the 2012-2013 school year beginning Wednesday August 22nd. Please use caution when travelling through the school zones in the community. Geneva Police Department officers will be providing a highly visible presence around our schools and in school speed zones. We will be focusing on traffic enforcement in regards to speeding within the school zones, texting while driving, speaking on a cellular telephone while driving in a school zone, and pedestrian violations. We want to take every step to assure for a safe school year for our children, their parents, and everyone who travels our roadways. The Geneva Police Department appreciates your assistance.
