"When we heard about the unfortunate events that occurred to Mr. Caramanna, we were deeply saddened to hear that he was the victim of such a crime, and on behalf of Mayor Baker and the City Council, we decided the right thing to do was to help someone in such time of need."

Correction:
Some outlets have incorrectly reported that the City of Woodway has donated the rental of the new facility, The Pavilion. The Caramanna-Grant event was booked through Whitehall Center, and that is the venue that was donated.
