On 07-19-2012, a Nixel Advisory was sent to the community advising of Purse Snatching - Robbery that had occurred on Covington Highway.
On 08-15-12, Avondale Estates Police secured two arrest warrants pertaining to the incident; one warrant for Robbery by Force another for Simple Battery. Arrested was 20-year old Julian R. Clay of a Decatur address.
A cash bond has been set with the suspect incarcerated and awaiting a preliminary hearing.
