Back To School 
Today, August 27, 2012 meant back to school for most Moore County area students. The first day of school is very exciting and sometimes overwhelming for children who may not be paying as much attention as they should. Motorists will once again have to share the road with buses, which make frequent stops. With this in mind, we are asking the community to join us in keeping a watchful eye for our students.
Aberdeen Police Dept, Local Law Enforcement and Moore County School Officials recommend all motorists allow extra time for their morning commute, and be aware of children waiting for the bus. Extra police officers will be on patrol, in an attempt to make the first day of school a safe one.
