On the morning of August 20, 2012, deputies from Century Station responded to the 11400 block of Atlantic Avenue regarding a robbery that had just occurred. The victim and his sister were in front of a local laundry mat when the suspect walked up to the boy, grabbed a hold of his chain, and pushed him to the ground, causing the chain to break. The victim sustained a scratch on the bottom of his chin from the attack.
The suspect, who was described as a male Black between the ages of 25-30 with black hair, brown eyes, measuring 5’10”-6’00”, 160-180 pounds, wearing black pants, a black short sleeved shirt, a black hat, and having a thin mustache, was last seen running south on Atlantic Avenue and out of view.
