Arrest Made in Recent Shooting
Century station detectives recently made an arrest of a shooting suspect after he was positively identified from a photographic line up. On July 20, 2012, the victim and the suspect were working as armed security guards in the 600 block of East El Segundo Boulevard, in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles. Both parties became involved in a heated argument, and at one point, the suspect pulled his gun from his holster and fired two rounds at the victim. The victim was uninjured in the incident. Detectives developed information on the whereabouts of the suspect and made an arrest without incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
