“For the past several days, we have closely monitored Hurricane Isaac for any possible impacts on Nederland and the southeast Texas region. The track calls for landfall in southeast Louisiana shortly. For Nederland, it appears possible impacts include 3-4 inches of rain and wind gusts below tropical level. If this changes, we will update you. While it appears Nederland will avoid the direct impact of this tropical system, hurricane season is not over and you should be prepared in case of a future storm.”
