Drunk Driving Patrols over the Holiday in the City of Milan. Milan Police will conduct special patrols!
The Milan Police Department in conjunction with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office will participate with the Office of Highway Safety Planning -Drunk Driving- Grant Program. Drunk Driving patrols will be conducted in the City of Milan – tonight through Monday, September 3rd 2012

Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office and surrounding agencies will conduct special enforcement effort from now through September 3rd 2012.
Drunk Driving Facts;
(1) In 2011, 319 people died in Michigan as a result of alcohol and/or drug-involved traffic crashes.
(2) Michigan Law Enforcement agencies arrested 37,540 motorists for impaired driving in 2011
(3) Fines for Drunk Driving - up to $5,500!
