Remington Police would like to remind you to Drive Safely for Children going Back to School.

Fauquier County Schools are back in session. The Remington Police Department would like to remind all citizens of the importance of safe walking and safe driving.

It is important for everyone to keep safety in mind, especially during the first few weeks of children returning to schools. This means driving carefully and looking out for children walking to and from school. Every year, about 25,000 child pedestrians are injured by motor vehicles. Please be very cautious around schools and bus stops.

Remington Police will be enforcing all school zone speed limits during the upcoming school year.
