Man Arrested for Annoying a Child at Atlantic Avenue Park
On August 19, 2012, Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Staff summoned Parks Bureau Deputy’s from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department when they saw a suspect who had annoyed a minor in the swimming pool a week ago. The deputies arrived at the park and arrested Carlos Gutierrez a male 34 years old who is a resident of Los Angeles for Annoying a Child at Atlantic Avenue Park.
On August 11, 2012, suspect Gutierrez rubbed his hands around the chest and groining area of an 11 year old female while they were both swimming in the pool at the park. The victim moved away from the suspect, exited the pool, and told the park staff what had happened. The suspect left the area prior to the arrival of deputies.
Suspect Gutierrez was booked at East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station. Gutierrez is also being held on a no bail immigration charge.
