Charges filed in serious August crash. Driver charged w/negligent oper, speeding, fail to keep right. 
BOXBOROUGH, MA – Boxborough police have concluded their investigation into a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 1on Burroughs Rd.
The driver of the car, identified as Krista A. JANSEN, 18, of 5 Milldam Rd., Acton has been charged with several motor vehicle violations.
Boxborough Sgt. Brett Pelley, a member of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) Collision Reconstruction Team, was the primary investigator in the case.
According to Sgt. Pelley’s report, the speed of JANSEN’S vehicle was 81.2 miles per hour when she lost control and struck a tree. JANSEN and her 16 year old passenger both sustained serious injuries. Their conditions are not currently known.
A complaint application has been filed with the Ayer District Court, charging JANSEN with negligent operation of a vehicle, failure to keep right and speeding.
