On Friday, August 31st, Century Station patrol deputies observed a male Hispanic spray painting a wall. Upon seeing the deputies, the suspect threw the spray can over a fence and tried to walk away. The suspect had written “FX3TMS,” which is consistent with graffiti from the Florencia criminal street gang. The vandalized area measured approximately 2 feet by 10 feet, and was estimated at $750 to repair. If convicted, the suspect could face imprisonment in the county jail for one year, or a fine up to $10,000.
