Ray County has lfited the burn ban. Residents still need to obtain an valid burn permit and have it signed by the Fire Chief before doing any burning or face fines.
Burn permits are available at www.woodheightsfire.com then click on applications. The Burn permit is downloadable from the website and can be filled out or via Google search of Missouri DNR Burn permit to obtain a permit.
No burning is allowed in Ray County without a valid burn permit signed by the Fire Department and the Mo DNR office PRIOR to burning.
