9/07/2012 Topsfield mosquito testing update indicates no positive results for either EEE or WNV in mosquito trapped.

-Good news.
-This week’s mosquito testing in Topsfield indicates no positive results for either EEE or WNV in mosquitoes trapped in any of the multiple locations throughout town.
-However, residents should continue to be vigilant regarding protection from mosquitoes, especially during the hours between dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
-As of this writing, the scheduled pre-emptive spraying of Steward and Proctor Schools will occur after 9:00 pm tonight. All activities may occur without reservation on Saturday on both properties.
-As of this writing, the scheduled “Movie Night” on the Topsfield Commons provided by the Topsfield Police Dept. will occur and will not be affected by the spraying.
-Continue to visit www.topsfield-ma.gov and click on “Public Health Information” for updates and links to the most up-to-date mosquito information available.
