ROBBERY ARREST GLEN BURNIE
On September 5, 2012, at approximately 11:22 a.m., Northern District Officers responded to the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Aquahart Road for a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 33-year-old female victim, who advised that she was driving with an acquaintance when he attempted to take her money from her hand while she was driving. The victim advised that the subject grabbed her arm and hand repeatedly in attempt to take the money, which caused the victim to lose control of the vehicle and pull off to the side of the road. The suspect ultimately took the money from her hand after assaulting the victim. The suspect then fled the vehicle on foot southbound on Ritchie Highway, where he was observed walking a short time later. After being positively identified by the victim, the suspect was arrested and charged with Robbery and numerous related charges. The victim sustained minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.
