Suspect arrested for Heroin Possession; Herbert Lamont Cherry 
On September 09th, 2012 a joint investigation with the Nash County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division and Rocky Mount Police Department was conducted in reference to Heroin. During this investigation HERBERT LAMONT CHERRY was arrested following a traffic stop and 35 baggies of Heroin being located inside the vehicle. HEBERT LAMONT CHERRY was transported to the Nash County Jail where he was charged by the Nash County Sheriff's Office for Possession with Intent to Sell, Manufacture, and Deliver Heroin and Maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.
