Large Indoor Marijuana Grow Discovered 
Century Station deputies responded to an audible alarm call at a commercial building located in the 13100 block of Broadway on the evening of September 8th.
Upon their arrival, they observed an individual exit the building and quickly close the door behind him. Believing the individual was involved in a burglary at the location, the deputies detained him. While the deputies were preparing to enter the location to determine if a burglary had just taken place, a second individual exited the building and was also detained.
The deputies entered the location and discovered a large marijuana growing operation in excess of five hundred large plants. Marijuana plants in varying stages of growth were located, along with containers of picked buds and loose marijuana. Concentrated cannabis, known as hashish, and equipment for manufacturing hashish was also located.
The deputies then secured the area and obtained a warrant to seize the evidence.
After an investigation in the field, the two individuals were arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis for sales and cultivating marijuana.
