LAKE LURE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND RUTHERFORD COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT NARCOTICS TEAM ARREST A SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER IN LAKE LURE

CASEY MCLAUGHIN, a resident of Lake Lure residing at 196 Boys Camp Road, was taken into custody following a Search Warrant and arrested at his home. Mr. McLaughin was charged with POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO SELL AND DISTRIBUTE SCHEDULED VI, MAINTAINING A VEHICLE/DWELLING/PLACE WITH CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, and DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. 60.00 grams of Marijuana, other drug paraphernalia and over $600.00 in US Currency was seized from the residence.
In addition to this arrest, HEATHER RYAN CURTIS, McLaughin’s neighbor, was cited for SIMPLE POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA and POSSESS WITH INTENT TO USE DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
