A power outage has occurred in the area of the West side of Santa Cruz between Mission Street and the ocean. The cause of the outage is not known at this time.

Teams are currently responding to restore power. PG & E estimates repairs should be completed by 11 AM.

This outage affects some traffic signals on Mission and throughout the affected area. When lights are inoperative, drivers should react as though the intersections are 4-way stops. Please drive with caution and allow extra time to travel to your destination.
