The following Temporary Parking Restrictions and Regulations are in effect for the 33rd Annual Mercersburg Townfest, September 29, 2012.

1. There shall be no parking on the following streets from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012:

A. East Seminary Street
B. West Seminary Street
C. West Seminary Street Extended
D. Main Street on Center Square
E. Church Street from East Seminary Street to rear of Trinity United Church of Christ

2. The following street will be closed to ALL traffic from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012:

A. East Seminary Street from Center Square to Church Street
B. West Seminary Street from Center Square to South Park Avenue
C. West Seminary Street Extended from South Park Avenue

3. A detour will be in effect for Main Street between the intersection of Oregon Street to California Street between the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the reenactment of J.E.B. Stuart’s raid.

A. Detour both north and south bound Main Street during this period will be as follows:

(1) All south bound traffic will turn left onto Oregon Street, right onto Church Street, left onto East Seminary Street, right onto Constitution Avenue, and left onto South Main Street or PA Route 16.

(2) All north bound traffic will turn right onto Constitution Avenue, continue across East Seminary Street onto Church Street, left onto Oregon Street, and right onto North Main Street of PA Route 16.

4. Anyone in violation of these restrictions will be required to pay a fine of $25.00 and/or have their vehicle towed at their expense.
