The Palos Heights Police Department and FOP Lodge #154, DO NOT solicit over the telephone. DO NOT give any personal information or make any donations to anyone claiming they are from the Palos Heights PD or FOP Lodge #154, as it is a scam. We have gotten recent reports that unknown person(s) are calling solicitng money for The Police Benevolent Society. The phone numbers that have been used are now non-working numbers, and none are affiliated with the Palos Heights PD, FOP Lodge #154, or any police organization for that matter.
As always, citizens should always verify whom they are making donations to, and should not make any donations if they are unsure of the source.
