This Saturday, 09/29/12 between 10 am and 2 pm, the Grapevine Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency will allow residents to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. The drop-off location will be in the front parking lot of the Police Department.

The purpose of these National Take Back Days is to provide a venue for persons to remove potentially dangerous prescription drugs, particularly controlled substances, from our nation’s medicine cabinets so they are not abused or misused by our children.

This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of them.
