PRESS RELEASE- Search Warrants reveal Indoor Marijuana Operation
Warsaw Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies and Indiana State Police investigators were involved in the execution of a search warrant this morning at 1304 N. Park Avenue, Warsaw. The joint Warsaw PD and Kosciusko County SWAT team was utilized to make entry to the home, which was a suspected drug house and had an indoor Marijuana grow operation. At 10:35 a.m., Officers made entry and secured two individuals in the home. The homeowner’s dog was secured and taken temporarily to the Kosciusko County Humane Shelter.
The homeowner, Jeffrey A. Rozanowski, age 35, was arrested for Dealing and Possession of Marijuana within 1000 feet of a park. A second subject found at the home- 18 year old Kristina Freeman, was charged with Possession of Marijuana within 1000 feet of a park. Complaints had been received prior that indicated that an indoor grow operation was in place.
Found in the home was a self-contained indoor Marijuana grow operation. Approximately 30 live plants, processed Marijuana for drying, as well as bagged Marijuana for sales were located. Additionally cash, scales, pipes, and other paraphernalia were found in the home. An Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication team assisted in documenting and dismantling the operation inside the home.
Officers were at the home approximately 2 hours securing and confiscating evidence of the illegal drug house and its operation.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation.
