COMMUNITY ADVISORY FROM LAKE LURE POLICE DEPARTMENT
Angela Tynille Ledbetter was arrested September 24, 2012 on a secured warrant for Obtaining Property by False Pretense and Larceny by Employee.
Ms. Ledbetter of 170 Sycamore Drive, Lake Lure, NC, worked for Ms. Fracise Kearns-King who also resides in Lake Lure. According to reports Ms. Ledbetter obtained information from Ms. Kearns-King’s bank account. Ms. Ledbetter then opened a T-Mobile cell phone account and over a period of several months used a total of $692.18 from Ms. Kearns-King’s account by using auto-debit. Ms. Kearns-King advised Lake Lure Police Department in a statement that on September 18, 2012 Ms. Ledbetter and her boyfriend approached her to borrow a large amount of money to assist them in restitution over legal matters. It was later that afternoon that Ms. Kearns-King discovered the money missing from her account.
Ms. Ledbetter was arrested and booked in Rutherford county Detention Center held on a secured $10,000.00 bond.
