Traffic Accident 
Winona Lake Police responded Saturday October 6, 2012 at 3:50AM to William Drive and 225 South for a minor injury accident involving a 2008 Chrysler passenger car and a Horse.
The driver Ryan Price stated he was traveling east on 225 South when a horse entered the roadway from the South. Price was unable to avoid the collision. Price was transported to KCH for treatment of injuries.
The horse died on impact with the vehicle the property owners were unaware that the horse had escaped the corral.
Winona Lake Police were assisted at the scene by Winona Lake Fire and Multi Township EMS
