In a recent arrest, a suspect came to the Century Station front lobby to turn herself in for a $100,000 arrest warrant. After confirming the suspect had the outstanding warrant, she was promptly placed under arrest.
While conducting a search of the suspect incident to her arrest, a plastic bindle containing methamphetamine was recovered from the suspect. The suspect stated “oh, I forgot that was there.”
Instead of simply turning herself in for the warrant, the suspect was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and faces another round of legal woes.
