Sheriff Doug Cox wants county residents to be informed that on October 12, 2012, two Johnson County residents who lived near County Road 700E between State Road 44 and Greensburg Roads reported that their homes had been burglarized. The incidents occurred during the hours of 7:15 am and 12:40 pm. One incident involved doors left unlocked, while the second incident involved forcible entry to a rear door. Sheriff Cox encourages residents to assist Sheriff's Deputies by reporting suspicious activity immediately by calling 911. Help watch out for your neighbors property and alert 911 dispatchers to unfamiliar vehicles in driveways in this rural area until the individuals responsible for these acts can be apprehended.
