Enid Man Arrested For Raping Babysitter
Enid Police Detective Tim Doyle arrested Jimmy Petersen, 28, last night for First Degree Rape. A seventeen (17) year old female reported that she was babysitting Petersen’s child at his residence 3625 Buffalo Dr. She stated that Petersen came home for lunch while she was there babysitting. She reported that Petersen asked to speak with her in his bedroom. She said that when she entered the room Petersen began trying to kiss her but she refused. She said that he then shoved her onto the bed and removed her pants. The female told police that she told Petersen to stop several times, but he continued anyway. She stated that he had sexual intercourse with her and then left the residence. The female teen left Petersen’s residence and spoke with police shortly thereafter.
Detective Doyle made contact with Petersen at his home, 3625 Buffalo Dr at approximately 5:15 PM. Petersen told Doyle that he did have sex with his teenage babysitter, but he thought that she was eighteen (18) years old. Petersen told Doyle that he came home for lunch and his babysitter told him that she wanted to have sex with him. He told her that he really didn’t want to. He said that she threatened to tell other people that they had sex even if he didn’t have sex with her. Petersen said that she sort of pushed him into the bedroom, but she didn’t exactly force him in there. Petersen told Doyle that the female teen pulled his pants down, pushed him onto the bed and climbed on top of him. He advised that she rolled over and pulled him on top of her. He said that they had sexual intercourse until he thought he heard his nine (9) year old daughter. He told Doyle that he wasn’t really forced to have sex with her, but that he really didn’t want to do it.
Detective Doyle arrested Petersen for First Degree Rape and he was transported to the Garfield County Detention Facility. He is being held without a bond.
