Are you ready for the storm? Now is the time to prepare for the possibility of flooding rains and wind damage. In the event of power outages: Do you have working flashlights? Do you have enough food to last three days? Is your generator working and do you have fuel for it? Do you have an alternative site you can stay if there is an extended power outage. In the event of flooding rains: Are your gutters cleared of leaves and other debris? Are the storm drains in the roadway in front of your home free of debris? Please check on your neighbors if they are elderly, shut ins, or have mobility issues.
