IMPORTANT FACT SHEET
1. Be sure to lay portable basketball nets down on the ground and secure them.
2. Consider parking your cars in separate locations (i.e. street, parking lots & driveway) in the event of fallen trees you still have transportation
3. Stay home unless there is an absolute need to travel about
4. Do not drive through flooded roads, depth can be deceptive
5. Be attentive for Traffic Signal outages
6. NEVER touch a downed or lowered lines or anything in contact with one.
7. Turn off electrical power when there are hazards around your home such as standing water, fallen power lines, or gas leaks.
8. Use battery-powered lanterns and flashlights, avoid of candles, to prevent fires
9. Photograph any wind or water damage. Pre-Storm photos may be useful.
10. Extra Fire, Police, & EMS Workers will be on duty
11. Stratford Office of Emergency Management is activated
12. Sheltering arrangements have been made, if needed.
13. Please know, responses from the power company may be delayed
14. If needed, a Borough tree debris location will be announced for tree disposals
15. Utilize the 911 system for emergencies, for non-emergency calls,
call 856-783-4900
16. Borough Offices will be closed until 9:00am Monday, subject to state authorizations and declarations.
