Thornton - Body Discovered By Fisherman 1 Mile East of the Mokelumne River 
(THORNTON, CA) On 10-28-12, at around 1:30pm Sheriff's deputies responded to the report of a fisherman discovering a male body floating in Beaver Slough at Blossom Rd. in Thornton.
San Joaquin County Sheriff's Boating Safety deputies also responded and recovered the male body from the water. There were no signs of foul play upon recovery. The identification of the body is pending the notification to the next of kin. The official cause of death is pending an Autopsy and Toxicology results.
