Due to the large number of power outages throughout our Town a resident reception center will be opening at the Hergenhan Recreation Center 40 Maple Avenue armonk,NY at 6 pm until 10 pm this evening 10-29. Residents who have lost their electricity can come to the center for a hot beverage, snacks, showers, and charge their electronic devices. The Reception center will be re-opeing at 8 am Tuesday morning 10/30.
The Town would like all residents to limit their driving and leave the roads clear for emergency response and utility vehicles. Their will be dangerous winds during the upcoming overnight period and traveling from your homes will put you and others at risk.
All of our Town employees , Fire and EMS Agencies ,and our utility workers are all in Town working hard under extremely dangerous conditions to make it as safe as possible during this very dangerous storm.
