Telephone Problems are Reported at The Town of Lake Lure, Lake Lure Police and Lake Lure Fire Departments

The Town of Lake Lure, including the Lake Lure Police Department and the Lake Lure Fire Department are experiencing telephone problems due to the storm.
It was reported that when the town offices opened this morning, there was trouble calling into the Town Center, the Police Department and the Fire Department, mostly by Cellular Phones.
If you have an emergency please dial 9 1 1 to reach either the Lake Lure Fire Department or the Lake Lure Police Department as there is radio transmission between these parties.
The phone service is currently being worked on for these problems. We appreciate your patience.
