Please be advised that the Borough of Elmwood Park is aware of your power outage and they are working closely with PSEG to restore power as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this difficult time.

Power outages remain the main concern for the Borough of Elmwood Park. Power has been restored to several areas already. Residents with power should be prepared for temporary outages as PSE&G needs to shutdown certain areas before bringing up others on the same grid. You can also go to PSEG.COM for additional information.

At this time we cannot get a definitive response to a restoration date. If possible, make arrangements to stay with family members or friends. It is recommended that residents keep checking on their neighbors’ welfare.

We recommend that everyone conserve fuel. Long lines and shortages will continue at your local gas stations. You should limit travel and only use generators and vehicles as necessary.

The Recreation Center will be open 9a to 9p in case any residents are in need of charging electronic devices or a place to warm up.
