Six suspects are custody for their role in a series of burglaries and robberies.

Between October 21st and October 27th the LPD received five separate reports of subjects breaking into residences and holding the residents at gunpoint while the suspects stole property from the homes, committing robberies and attempting to break into another residence. In each reported instance the suspect descriptions and actions were similar and in most instances the suspects were reported to be armed with guns and knives. LPD investigators believed these incidents to be related. In one instance, the suspects were reported to be in a white Mitsubishi passenger car. On October 23rd officers stopped a vehicle matching that description. The driver, identified as Jeremiah Rossette, was arrested for a traffic violation and evidence possibly linking him to the crimes was discovered in the vehicle. He was not charged for burglary or robbery at the time as the investigation continued and investigators built evidence in the case.
On October 28th LPD officers stopped a different vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by four male subjects; one adult and three juveniles. Officers located evidence possibly linking the suspects to the crimes and property that was stolen from one of the homes in the vehicle. The juveniles were arrested for burglary at the time of the stop. The adult, Race Chaparro, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and unrelated warrants. LPD detectives continued the investigation and built evidence indicating three adults and three juveniles planned and carried out this series of crimes together. On Friday, November 2nd, with the assistance of the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office, LPD investigators obtained arrest warrants for the three adult suspects. Each suspect was located and arrested for the warrants the same day.
Jeremiah Rossette 06/02/95 is charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery and one count of Burglary of a Habitation.
Race Chaparro 10/10/93 is charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery and one count of Burglary of a Habitation.
Ethann Greenlee 04/19/94 is charged with one count of Burglary of a Habitation.
All three are currently being held in the Lubbock County Jail.
The three juvenile males are also still in custody for their involvement in these crimes.
