Town of North Castle – Restoration Efforts 11/09

As of 6:00AM there are still 848 customers without power in Town. There are 29 restoration crews and 58 bucket trucks working in Town today. A number of areas had power restored due to the work yesterday during the day and last night. Crews are continuing to work to restore power to the remaining customers who are out. Con Ed advised us that there are crews working in the following areas today: Chestnut Ridge Road; Route 22 (north of Davis Drive, plus the side streets); the Windmill 1 and 2 loops (which should restore Middle Patent Rd. and the Huntwood section); Bedford Banksville Road (plus the side streets); the Whippoorwill area; Old Route 22; and Route 120. Although your street may not be specifically listed here, please know that all areas without power are being addressed.

Additionally, we are working to assist with what are being termed “single-service” outages whereby your individual service to your house or business has been impacted. We are working in conjunction with our Building Department and Con Edison to facilitate the restoration process. As we gather more information about this process, we will make it available to you.
