Parolee Arrested After He Was Seen Annoying And Harassing Children In The Park

On November 05, 2012, a Parks Bureau Deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received information concerning a male white adult who had been annoying and harassing children in the playground area of “Arcadia County Park.” The individual was subsequently detained and identified as Randall Craig Harabedian, a male white, 47 years old, and a resident of Whittier. Further investigation revealed Mr. Harabedian was on active parole stemming from a burglary conviction.

Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Parks Bureau Special Problems Team, along with a California State Parole Officer, conducted a parole compliance check at Mr. Harabedian’s home. Based on his conduct at Arcadia County Park, parole personnel revoked his parole status and took him into custody. He was booked at the Inmate Reception Center pending a parole revocation hearing.

Parks Bureau personnel are committed to keeping our parks safe from sexual predators and crime. To report a crime or suspicious activity, please call (800) 834-0064.
