The Palos Heights Police announce the arrest of Reginald Taylor, of the 7100 block of South Harvard, Chicago, Illinois. Taylor was charged with Armed Robbery of the Palos Heights Radio Shack on November 7, 2012.

At 2:30PM, Taylor entered the Radio Shack, located at 11901 S Harlem Ave, and waited for customers to leave the store. Taylor then locked the front door and approached an employee at the cash register. Taylor then displayed a handgun and announced the robbery. After receiving money, Taylor fled through the rear door of the business before police were called. Twenty-five minutes later, the Oak Lawn Police responded to the Radio Shack, located in the 9500 block of Cicero Ave, for a call of a suspicious person. Taylor ran from the scene as the Oak Lawn Police arrived and was subsequently apprehended after an armed standoff with police.

On November 8, 2012, while viewing a physical lineup, both victim employees of the Palos Heights Radio Shack, identified Taylor as the robbery suspect.

On November 9, 2012, the Cook County States Attorney's Office reviewed the case and approved the charge of Armed Robbery. Taylor, who was on parole for Armed Robbery, will have a bond hearing at 9:00AM, at the Cook COunty Criminal Courts Building at 26th & California on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
