West Monroe Police is continuing to ask for your help in identifying the unknown suspect or suspects involved in a string of repeated vandalisms which are continuing to occur at businesses located along Cypress St. and North 7th St. in West Monroe.
The suspects/suspects are continuing to shoot out storefronts glass with an apparent BB-gun, causing hundreds of dollars of damage to each business.
Crimes Stoppers of Ouachita is offering a $2000.00 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects responsible for this crime, 318-388-CASH or West Monroe Police 318-396-2722.

The West Monroe Police Department is seeking your help in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in a rash of Damages to Property which have occurred at businesses along Cypress Street in West Monroe beginning Monday, 11-5-2012 and are continuing to occur.
The unknown suspect or suspects have been seen traveling in an unknown vehicle in the 3400 block of Cypress St. and discharging a suspected BB-gun at storefronts glass as they pass, shattering them.
These unknown suspects have committed this act on numerous businesses within the city limits of West Monroe along with Ouachita Parish.
It is against the law to discharge an “Air Powered” gun within the city limits of West Monroe, anyone found guilty of this crime can be sentenced to a maximum of six months in jail and a $500.00 fine or both for each instance. (WMCO#: 11-4001)
It is also against the law for anyone to intentionally damage any property of another, Whoever commits the crime of simple criminal damage to property amounts to five hundred dollars but less than fifty thousand dollars, the offender shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned with or without hard labor for not more than two years, or both. (LA RS 14:56)
