Police Need Help to Identify Purse Thief
Enid Police need the help of the community to identify a man who took a purse from the employee locker room at Bass Hospital, 600 S. Monroe, on October 26. Police took a report from an Enid resident who is an employee of Bass Hospital. She said that she went to work on October 26 at 4:30 AM and placed her purse containing her belongings on the table in the employee locker room. She stated that she returned at about 5:15 AM and her purse was gone. She advised her employer who was able to provide the Enid Police Department with video surveillance footage of the suspect. The officer described the suspect as a white male who was wearing a black coat, camouflage hat, black and white tennis shoes, blue jeans and a tan sweater with dark colored stripes. The suspect also has some type of facial hair that is described as being a beard or long sideburns and goatee.
