Two suspects arrested for residential burglary
On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at approximately 9:05 a.m., Cypress Police Officers were dispatched to the 4900 Block of Newman in regards to an interrupted residential burglary. The victim, who was home at the time of the burglary, called the police and reported that a male subject was seen inside of the residence and upon being discovered, immediately ran out the back door. During a subsequent check of the surrounding neighborhoods by Cypress patrol officers, two subjects were located. One of the subjects matched the suspect description provided by the victim and was in possession of jewelry that also belonged to the victim.
After a successful in-field identification, both subjects were taken into custody without incident. The first suspect was identified as Taishaman Adamsarrant (D.O.B. 8-25-93). The second suspect was a male juvenile whose name and date of birth is being withheld. Both suspects were booked at the Cypress Police Department’s jail for the charge of P.C. 459 – Residential Burglary, P.C. 496 – Possession of stolen property, and P.C. 182 – Conspiracy to commit burglary. Taishaman Adamsarrant was later transported to the Orange County Jail and is being held on $50,000 bail. The juvenile was transported and booked at Orange County Juvenile Hall. All of the stolen jewelry was returned to the victim
