NORTHERN DISTRICT
COMMERCIAL ARMED ROBBERY GLEN BURNIE
On December 1, 2012, at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to The Game Stop store located in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with store employees, who reported that a male suspect entered the store, brandished a handgun and announced a robbery. The employees complied by turning over an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency to the suspect, who fled on foot seen running south towards Crain Highway to the rear of the business. Patrol officers, a K-9 unit and the Aviation unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect: Black male, approximately 5’8”, 140 pounds, wearing dark clothing, a black face mask and a black “beanie” style hat
