We will kick off our 2012 Santa Cops toy wrapping party tonight in the Grapevine Towne Center Shopping Center, 1217 W S.H. 114 Suite 120. The Toy Shoppe (formerly Famous Footwear) is located adjacent to Men’s Warehouse. The Santa Cops wrapping party will begin at 6 PM. The more the merrier!!! If you are unable to attend tonight's event, we will also be wrapping at 6 PM on December 6th, 11th, and possibly the 13th & 18th if necessary.
Last night, a local business purchased 28 shopping carts of toys (over $13,000) for Santa Cops. Its nice gestures like this as well as all of the other donations and the work of the volunteers that truly make Santa Cops a huge success!! I once heard, "The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation." Collectively we will continue to do great things in this community!!
Once again, Donation Drop boxes are available at the following: Senior Activities Center, Community Activities Center, Central Fire Station, Waffle Way, and City Hall for anyone wishing to donate an unwrapped toy. Donation Drop Boxes will remain on location until December 21, 2012. Cash donations are also accepted and taken year round.
