Over the past week or so there have been several shed burglaries reported in the area of Palisades on the Severn and the surrounding area.
The thieves are targeting small items such as gasoline cans, wire, tools, etc, and are cutting locks to gain entry.
If you have a shed in your yard, please check to make sure it is secure. If you have been a victim, please report this to the police department by calling 410-222-8610.
It is unknown what time of day these thefts occurred, but If you have exterior lighting, please consider leaving the lights on overnight. Lighting is a big deterrent to thieves, and relatively inexpensive.
If you see any suspicious behevior, please call 911 right away.
