The Alhambra Police Officer’s Association are preparing for their Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
The Alhambra Police Officer’s Association and the City of Alhambra Employees are preparing for their Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive in making the holidays a joyous time for those in need. This is a way to make needy family feel happy and included in the celebration of the holiday season.
We will be accepting donations through December 14, 2012, with the goal of helping needy families in the City of Alhambra. The Alhambra Police Officer’s Toy and Food Drive provides families in our community with a holiday meal and toys for every child in the family.
A new toy would mean so much, especially to a child who might not otherwise receive a holiday gift and to the family under hardship who cannot afford to give their child one.
If you would like to participate in our tradition, please bring a non-giftwrapped toy for a child up to the age of 16 years old and or a non-perishable food item. Your donations can be dropped off at the Alhambra Police Department Lobby. Our lobby is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We ask that the donations be made prior to Friday, December 14, 2012, so they may be organized and distributed in time, but we will gladly accept toys right up to Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, 2012.
