ROBBERY ARRESTS GLEN BURNIE
On December 7, 2012, at approximately 2:04 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie for a report of a strong arm robbery of a citizen that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 17-year-old male victim, who advised that he was walking along a path in the woods near Warwickshire Lane when he was approached by a group of male suspects who began assaulting the victim. During the assault, the victim was knocked to the ground and his cell phone and an undisclosed amount of currency was removed from his wallet. The suspects then fled on foot toward Ritchie Highway.
A short time later, officers received a call for suspicious subjects who were seen running into a residence in the unit block of Brooks Terrace Road. Through further investigation, officers determined that the suspects were hiding in the residence. Upon searching the residence, several suspects were taken into custody and positively identified as the suspects involved in the robbery. All of the suspects were charged with Robbery, Second Degree Assault and Theft.
Suspects: A 14-year-old male, a 15-year-old male and two 16-year-old males (all from Glen Burnie)
