UPDATE: Charges filed on Ear Gauge Stalker #LAPD #LADA
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office out of the San Fernando Court filed multiple felony counts against Kevion Hunt, whom police dubbed the Ear Gauge Stalker.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn McNary filed two counts of Assault with Intent to Commit a Sex Crime; two counts of Attempt Rape; one count of Sexual Battery; and one count of Kidnap.
Hunt's bail was reset at $1.4 million. He remains in jail, pending his next hearing.
"These charges could not have been brought without the cooperation of the public, police, and prosecutors," said Lt. Paul Vernon, head of detectives at the Mission Area Police Station. "The composite played a key role in helping to identify Hunt quickly, and the detectives wanted to recognize the artist, victims, witnesses, neighbors, and the media who made it all come together so quickly."
