* HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THE DAY THURSDAY AND CONTINUE INTO MUCH OF THURSDAY NIGHT. SNOWFALL TOTALS WILL BE IN EXCESS OF 10 INCHES. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL ACCOMPANY THIS SNOW...ESPECIALLY LATE THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...WITH POSSIBLE PERIODS OF BLIZZARD CONDITIONS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN.

* PROGRESSIVELY TREACHEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS...WITH SLICK AND SNOW COVERED ROADS...AS WELL AS PERIODS OF POOR VISIBILITY DUE TO FALLING SNOW AND BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
* HEAVY WET SNOWS MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO MOVE AND DRIVE IN...WHILE ALSO LEADING TO POSSIBLE POWER OUTAGES.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
* A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF HEAVY SNOWFALL AND BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW LEADING TO POOR VISIBILITY WILL OCCUR. THIS WILL RESULT IN VERY DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
