Gallia Deputies are searching for Joseph Christopher Hajj age 32 concerning a felony theft by bad check charge from Beckley, West Virginia (warrant). There are also similar charges pending in Ohio.
Hajj is suspected of passing bad checks to obtain a 2012 Dodge truck in West Virginia.
The truck was recovered in the quail creek mobile home area today by Gallia Deputies. Hajj is 5'7" tall, around 180 lbs. Hazel eyes, black hair with a goatee.
Hajj is suspected of passing bad checks in our area as well. The Sheriffs Office urges business owners to be cautious about accepting large check amounts. The checks that Hajj used had a construction company name on them. If you have info on Hajj please call our tip line at 740-446-6555. It is not known if Hajj is armed, but the public is cautioned to not attempt apprehension but to contact local law enforcement if he is spotted.
