On Tuesday, November 27th 2012 at approximately 5:10 pm, a vehicle negotiated a left turn onto westbound Burbank Blvd from northbound Vineland Avenue collided with two blind adult pedestrians. The pedestrians were inside the marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. The pedestrians made contact with the hood, front windshield, and then fell to the ground. The driver left the scene failing to render aid and exchange information as required by law. Both pedestrians suffered significant injuries as result of the collision. Both were transported to the hospital where they were treated and later released.
